Georgia One. Big Ideas
Real Impact.
To the Leadership of the Democratic National Committee,
I write to you as the CEO of Daniel Davenport Technologies, the founder of Georgia One—an educational, student-led organizing initiative mentoring future lawyers and lobbyists—and a former Chief of Staff for one of the largest televised parade and music festivals in the Southeast, hosted in Fulton County in honor of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.
First, allow me to express sincere appreciation for your consideration of Atlanta as a host city for the 2028 Democratic National Convention. Your recognition of cities that demonstrate growth, diversity, innovation, and strong civic partnership reflects the kind of forward-thinking leadership our country needs.
Atlanta stands uniquely positioned to deliver an exceptional convention experience. As a city rooted in civil rights history yet rapidly advancing in technology, business, and cultural influence, Atlanta offers both symbolic and practical value. It is a place where legacy meets innovation—where the story of America continues to be written.
Even now, the institutions and events I have helped support continue their work. This year’s festival proceeds under the theme “Mission Possible Too,” honoring the enduring legacy of Dr. King. In alignment with that spirit, select activities surrounding the event will convene politicians, judges, lawyers, and lobbyists to engage with Atlanta-based builders, engineers, and inventors showcasing emerging election and civic technology solutions.
I respectfully urge the Committee to strongly consider and ultimately select Atlanta as the host city.
Should this opportunity be awarded to Atlanta, I am prepared to stand in full support alongside a network of technology leaders, entrepreneurs, and innovators. Through Georgia One, we can mobilize and inspire the next generation of legal and civic leaders, while our broader network stands ready to contribute meaningfully to fundraising efforts, digital infrastructure, and community activation initiatives that will help ensure a successful and impactful convention.
This is more than an event—it is an opportunity to showcase a city that represents resilience, progress, and the future of American leadership.
Thank you again for your consideration and for your continued work in shaping the direction of our nation. If you all did find it in your best interest to convene here, I could work with staff to host a never been seen before look into our company’s new inventions which solves 55 elections, balloting, and voting interference issues nationwide. Below I am including a flier on those matters.
Respectfully,
Daniel Davenport
